how do i edit the default player animations?
hello, last night i did the proportion trick for a model that i created, and everything worked correctly... except the arms.
tried editing but they still look wrong. and i think its a problem with the animations, since on some it looks alright but on others it looks like this. https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/875557421488144414/908347275070308362/unknown.png

so i think it would just be better to redo the default hl2dm player animations, because they look pretty bad and theyre a bit problematic for my model.

now the question is, is there any documentation on how to make or edit base character animations? theres not much info on the wiki.

Install Blender and get the Blender Source Tools[steamreview.org] to import and animate your model in Blender — you can look up a Blender animation tutorial for the rest. You don't have to use Blender but it's probably the easiest thing to use for what you want to do.

The problem is that it's not as easy.
There's not only the qc editing part, there are also many different blend animations and other complicated stuff that i didn't understand yet.
But i dissected some official valve models and i think i'm starting to understand how they make their animations work.
