[FIXED][BUG] Decompiling L4D2 models adds allow_length_flex on jigglebones
From Dead 4 Mods Discord #crowbar:
[8:01 PM] Zetnus: I don't know if this is a known issue, but decompiling l4d2 models tends to add allow_length_flex on jigglebones which causes wierd uncontrollable twititching
[8:02 PM] Zetnus: It's been like this for quite some time, and I've learned to always remove allow_length_flex wherever it appears
[8:02 PM] Zetnus: but surely this is some sort of bug

This also adds "along_stiffness 100" and "along_damping 0" which, according to VDC is "only used if "allow_length_flex" is specified for this bone".

Is this also a side effect of "allow_length_flex" or were they present before?

Actually, I looked back through the decompiles from Crowbar v0.34, at least, and found the same "along stiffness" and "along_dampening" commands, even without the "allow_length_flex".

Does anyone know if any of these parameters are present in the actual source files?

The MDL format always stores all values, so probably Crowbar has a bug when interpreting what values are written to the QC file.

This is fixed for next release.
