Reported in group chat:

00:46 - box: http://puu.sh/fTw5t/7e7c4d8c46.jpg
01:03 - box: i've uh, tried many times to get eyes working when recompiling tf2 classes
always results in some broken mess, when it decompiles it's off a bit
01:19 - ZeqMacaw: it could be from the incomplete face flexes, unless you mean the pupil and iris area
01:20 - box: yeah the pupil
01:20 - box: i haven't so far had an issue with the eyelids, it's just i can't get the pupil to orientate right

To fix the pupil part, the line "$upaxis Y" needs to be included into the QC file. I'm not sure if it matters where, I usually place it near the beginning after the "$modelname" line. It flips the model, but the eyes will be lined up properly. If someone wants to make the model stand up properly again, they'll need to decompile and recompile a few times until the model comes full circle, and "$upaxis Y" needs to be included in the QC file each time.

I have tried to replicate this bug, but when I decompile the TF2 players with Crowbar 0.24 (based on the date of the first post), re-compile, and then view them in HLMV, the eyes seem fine.

I also did the same test procedure with Crowbar 0.49 and I am not seeing an issue with the eyes in HLMV.

Does the bug only show up in-game? Was this a bug in an earlier version of Crowbar? Does this bug exist in the current version, 0.49?
