That error has appeared for others and it was due to a bad MDL file.

From where did you get the MDL file? Was it perhaps extracted by a tool for Garry's Mod? I have seen at least one of those tools mess up the extraction of MDL files.

If you link me to the MDL file (and its related files for decompile), I can try to find out why Crowbar is having trouble with it.

extracted the files using a bat file that opens pkg's since all of the files were ecrypted into these package files. But here are the models https://www.dropbox.com/s/kbtmtqv8qtjv4n3/cso2%20mdl.rar?dl=0

I have downloaded the file and am checking it out. On first glance, it seems the MDL file is intact and whatever wrote the MDL file either used an incorrect value for the internal size value or incorrectly made the file size wrong by adding a few extra bytes to the end of the file.

I'll see if it works to let Crowbar try to decompile it and just make the "not expected size" error just be a warning.

:)

Thank you very much. It could be an incorrect value but my friend has had no issue with decompiling.

Many of the mesh faces are not in the expected format. I will have to research how to handle the differences for Counter-Strike Online 2.

What decompiler is your friend using? Has he decompiled the same MDL that you gave me?

:)

yeah, he seemed to not have any issues. I think cso2's source is alittle more modified than average source but im not 100% sure.
