have you covered the problem? seems like I am facing same one. I tried to decompile the player and player's anim, but they are also run at only one frame. I use the 3dsmax, means I should only change to blender to make it work? If you see this, tell me plz:）

It's said that Crowbar has been able to surpport.ani file since v2.3 but just not fully surpports mdl v49 files(I don't know what the verision of mdl but can only see there are lots of .ani files).
I tried to decompile l4d2 and csgo's mdl files to export not only character models but with their animations, like cs:source and cs1.6 do, but as we all know, l4d2 and csgo's animations dont work at all, I think that is the trick by .ani files.So I want to use Crowbar to do something, but I can't find any option refer to .ani, am I missing some thing right? Or there are actually no such ability of these tool.Does any one know how can I correctly decompile the animations from l4d2 or csgo, any help is appreciated!!! thanks advance;-)
