compare your qc to a source engine one and make changes accordingly i.e change "cdtexture" to "cdmaterials"

how can i add an animation to model?
$sequence "whatever" { "model\animation.smd" activity "ACT_WHATEVER" 1 (only necessary for npc/player animations that aren't called through lua) fadein 0.2 (higher values mean a slower transition to the animation) fadeout 0.2 fps 30 (lower = slower & higher = faster) }
