Nope, looks like a clean compile to me. I've tried (accidentally) compiling a $staticprop with a mesh that had an armature, and it resulted in error.

Maybe try getting rid of the $definebone line? I dunno, this is just a shot in the dark. You can also try making sure you have the latest crowbar.

Does the model have an armature?

What does your mesh file look like? Does it have an armature?

Try tent_ac.smd or dmx, in the $sequence line.

You don't just open the smd in notepad. It's a mesh file, not a text file. If you decompiled something, it should've come with a qc.

That looks nothing like what a qc should be.

$model "male_01" "swat_ls_reference.smd" { < get rid of that bracket.

The open bracket after ump.45.smd isn't needed.
