This is not a bug with Crowbar, so I have moved this to general discussion.

If you used anything but the gmad.exe found within Garry's Mod's installed files, then likely the tool you used incorrectly made the MDL file. I have seen this exact problem several times with models extracted from addons for Garry's Mod, but I do not know which tools have this issue..

If you have Garry's Mod installed, you could try my handy little bat file tool[drive.google.com] that uses gmad.exe to extract.

If all else fails, try a different gma extractor tool.

Looks like a bug in the QC file. Go to line 104 in the QC file and remove or comment-out that line and try recompiling. If it continues to error, then you can try removing the problem $sequence lines, but the model will lose those animations.

Move the $jigglebone lines outside of the $model braces { }.

I am not sure, but I think the following might fix that error.

Check the QC file for this line:
// $bbox -13 -13 0 13 13 72

Remove the two starting slashes so the line looks like this:
$bbox -13 -13 0 13 13 72

Then, try recompiling it.

I know it's a pain, but more info will be needed.

For the decompile error you posted:
- Text for the MDL File option.
- Text for the Output folder used.
- Or, instead of above, screenshot of Crowbar showing the Decompiler tab and the options set to what you used.
- Full decompile log
- List of files that were decompiled.

For changing folder path:
- Which options did you try? Decompiler tab's MDL file? Did you click the Browse button? Did you type in a folder? Does an error window open? When exactly does the error show up -- after clicking "Browse" -- after clicking "Open" button within the Browse window?

Sometimes I implement something that doesn't work in every language, such as using certain formatting of numbers. What is the language you have set for your Windows? The error message you posted looks like Italian, but it's best if I know the exact name used by Windows. With that info, I can test using the same language setting.

No, it does not make sense.

After decompiling, refresh the folder (in the file explorer window). Maybe Windows is not refreshing properly; this happens a lot to me.

Your first post stated trouble with finding SMD file from a decompile, which has nothing to do with compiling.
