Link a model you're trying to decompile

If ALL models your are in Blender, then they are already decompiled.

If your trying to COMPILE for SFM, you don't need collision (phys) models. Delete the collision joint/mesh statements and the collision model (phys) smd/dmx(s) from the QC.

Must have issues with your current permissions set up and the folders you're trying to write to. I have a computer that refuses to update anything Steam related unless the Steam client is launched As An Administrator. I'm still trying to figure that one out (without having to uninstall Steam and reinstalling it.)

V92, just as a Trouble Shooting follow up question, when you set the compile folder, did you type the path into the text box or did you use the browser button to select the path? I have found in previous versions, typing the path didn't work all the time (I think typing is fine in 0.56 but in other versions I actually had to use the browser function and select the folder for the path to take.) Knowing this might help narrow the problem down.

Zeq, Just trying to help out here but I wonder if it might be something with the interface to the Windows7 OS. The only difference I see here is that I am using Windows10 and mine is working as expected.

My GMod game files are located in the path identified in Library 2. Are you sure that the GMOD Files are located in Library 2 on your machine, or are they actually in Library 1?

But what game are you compiling for? Or is it consistent for all games?

you tried to convert the mdl to smd, how?

I extracted the spy.mdl, vtx and vvd files to a folder on my desktop. You need all of these model files to get a successful decompile.and they have to be in the same folder. These are the settings for the decompiler.
