To new players: I've found that the community is helpful across the board, and most servers you'll find a healthy number of people willing to help you get on your feet. I've played in a few of the MP servers and, barring the exception that proves the rule, the community is about as pleasant as you could hope to find.

@HappyNuke512 why not just start a normal survival game then and use console ? With command itemmenu and godmode your close to what creative will offer, expect that you need a tool to remove blocks, but thats all available with itemmenu just press h when active

Can you make an option in creative to turn on npcs to spawn and POI's? I like to explore in creative sometimes.

I think it would be a great idea to allow the player to spawn enemy POI's in creative
p.s.: I'm not a native speaker

@slygeon - PreAlpha patch 5.1 released on 22 JAN 2016 implemented turret target selection. You can now open the turret control panel ("P") and turn off all targeting except aliens to achive what you ask.

Otherwise turrets shoot at anything that moves - UPDATE! (there have bneen 4 more releases since this was "fixed").

I just want to say, I just bought the game for 16$$ on steam and loving it.Thanks the devs for listening to us and being so active and giving us timely updated game, Keep it up! One req, have you fixed the turrets shooting random things and wasting our bullets and empty when drones come out to your base... It should only defend base not shoot things randomly!!

Also, has the cargo bays doors/ or hangar doors been considered to be made? I am thinking some logical blocks for this like they have in starmade?? We need doors for hangars and etc...
Also, there is a bug when I shot drones or transport on planets, they blew up and flew into space!

and Lastly, I think games like these really need auto-run hotkey, is autorun that hard to implement? Like running takes forever also a toggle for sprinting for the shift key like most games have, cmon

ps, i havnt tried the hotfix 303 for the fps hotfix, ill have to report back if it didn't fixed it
