The best way to do it is to watch tutorials. UEAKCrash (mapper of frontline) has quick and decent tutorials. 3kliksphilip also has many good tutorials.

Well I found somebody that needs help on making a map. It's an attack defend map with a look and feeling like rottenburg.

I'll be willing to help. I don't have too much experience in hammer, but I know the basics and have made a few maps.

Also, if they want tutorials, 3kliksphilip (on youtube) has some good ones. They're a bit old and for css/csgo, but most of the information can apply to tf2, and they helped me learn a ton.

Well unfortunately, he changed his mind and wanted to make a completely different map, so we broke off ties and he let me finish the map on my own while he makes his own new one.

I would love an assistance. :)
