What I mean is can I use both Frontline! maps and weapon models? I'll use the weapon models to make custom weapons with their own stats.

Anything that people have publicly released so far you can use. Thought for using weapons on server plugins I would recommend asking the creators of the weapons personally if they want them used for that, that is not up to the Frontline team to decide

Just to give a heads up here, the first expansion will likely be focues on more destroyed versions of vehicles and buildings. Aside from that we planning on adding either more Vietnam style props (both military as well as nature stuff) or African Front props. Nothing is set in stone yet but this seems to be the most likely direction we'll go

There is not but should not be needed, so far we do daily checks of the item and map workshop to include everything uploaded that uses the Frontline template

This is a bit of a tricky one as rigging tf2 items isn't as complex as creating full new rigs, a lot of the base characters can be used (and skinwrap modifiers make it a lot easier) and therefore most experienced content creators are able to do their own rigs. If you do not mind teaming up with less experienced people that are not yet able to do their own rigs I'm sure there's some people that are willing to cooperate . I'd suggest the Facepunch thread to look for stuff to collaborate on, or just offer your availability and someone might be interested (links are on the website, unsure if steam blocks them).

Maya easily does the job

I'm assuming Muselk was playing on one of the TF2maps servers, they host a variation of custom maps, often work in progress ones like the Frontline map. It's not on the server constantly, check out the tf2map.net site or steam groups to see when they're doing playtests!

We appreciate the effort you put in to assembling this list, but we're not really in the position to force people to add their stuff to our collection.

I assume most of the contributors of those items know what Frontline! is and if they want their stuff added they will submit them.

How exactly does your folder structure look right now?
Mr.B3TA explained it right but the models do not neccesarily need to go into the custom folder. I personally have it installed in the regular tf folder

so materials go into:
tf/materials/models/props_frontline/*here all the vmt/vtfs are found*

and the models into:
tf/models/props_frontline/*all the .mdl and whatnot are found*

The same method should work in the custom folder althought you need the structure as:

tf/custom/Frontline_stuff/materials...

The extra folder called Frontline_stuff (or any other name) is needed iirc

I would keep an eye on the TF2maps website thread of the different maps that are/will be in development. I think the tf2maps servers often need people playtesting the upcoming maps and have sytems built in to directly give feedback to the creators.

Downloading the maps to host on your own servers is good too if you find a way to give the feedback to the mappers in their threads. I would advice to gather all feedback from your playthroughs into 1 place so the mapper doesn't need to go searching for it everywhere.
