We Are Nice Guys!

This group will likely mostly be for casual play, but keep in mind that Guns of Icarus online does have a competitive league and tournament scene which is still in its infancy, but growing. The inaugural season of the first competitive league 'The Cogs' is currently in the process of wrapping up, with season 2 starting in a few weeks - around June 8-15th. Registration for teams can occur anytime throughout the season. A perfect opportunity for Penny Arcade players to consider getting competitively involved. I'd love to see a PA presence in the competitive league.

Let me know if you would like to take part in competitve play. Cogs take place at 4pm EST on Saturdays. Unfortunately I am already part of a competitive team so I cannot participate in another groups matches, but I can probably help out in organisation, and definitely with practice. I'm sure we can coordinate practice matches between people from my main group, The Ducks, with anyone from PA that is interested. If anything, they can probably help show you the ropes.

The Ducks also host our own unofficial competitive weekly scrimmage called the Hungry Duck Games around 6-7 EST on Saturdays - basically immediately after the Cogs, which is streamed on twitch tv and teams are often invited to come mix it up with us. It is a lot of fun, and because it is unofficial, it is very casual for such high level play. We can definitely talk about trying to arrange something for that time. If we can't field a full team, we can probably play with other Icarus groups to fill in the empty slots.
