Foo's CTF Sniper Wars: Deathmatch Style CTF
I'm in the process of revamping Foo's High Kill Arena into Sniper Wars. Tweaks to come (some of the weapons are still from Arena and are HK; emphasis is being put towards sniper warfare)

Some new old maps have been CTFized from Half-Life 2: Deathmatch!

New old maps in rotation:
  • dom_junkcity
  • dom_island17
  • dom_bridge
  • dom_busa_badlands

And shoutouts to Black River for helping port some of these great old Deathmatch maps to CTF! I'm looking forward to adding more and more over the next few weeks. Also a great thanks to those who've provided feedback on the new setup.

Steam validation rejected

I might have a fix that doesn't require client changes. I have a test server running at 198.27.79.53:27023 that is Steampipe - could I get some players to join in and see if it works with their post Steampipe updated installs (ie: no GCF's)?

Those who play/are interested in playing
Download it from www.hl2ctf.com. The "HL2CTF 2.1 Full EXE Installer" works well - just make sure you have Steam shutdown when installing.

I play whenever I can - love the game. I see players in the servers fairly often but there isn't much organization for events, and timing slips across timezones..
