wait a sec, maybe barringer was the second owner?

Barringer could be Batmobiledriveby's beta profile.
That theory makes sense, except for the fact of that Barringer wouldn't be the first by alphabetical order. There are many names that start with a.

My theory is that barringer created the group and then he made his friend Batmobiledriveby an admin. Then, Batmobiledriveby did the group descryption as well as the announcement and everything else. Then, barringer and Batmobiledriveby had a heated argument and they stopped being friends, so Batmobiledriveby decided to leave the group.
Or maybe he just saw that his friend had been offline for too long and decided to unfriend him to make more space. After that, seeing how the owner was always offline, he decided to leave.

Huh.

This is really neat to think about.

WHAT IF

God = Batmobiledriveby

Jesus = Barringer

Holy shit

I dont honestly understand what you mean, but basically I think barringer was probably in the group and since his name starts with "B" and "A" he was the first at the member list, so when he left, he got membership.

But I possibly think that barringer abandoned his account long before that happened.
I mean his alt.

The "beta profile" term is from the announcement.

I dont think so, Barringer had 15+ games on his account.
That doesn't cease the posibility. It's also possible that both Batmobiledriveby and Barringer are someone else' alt accounts. The real creator of this group.

We need to go deeper

Aw c'mon, we can't just limit our investigation to that point.

Besides, once a mod or admin leave a group, their name would go back to normal without orange/yellow color and star. We can investigate both Barringer and Batmobiledriveby's friendslist, investigate the earlier posts made on the forum, investigate vsos porn stash, etc.

Complicated conspiracy theories is fun.

OK, So for for the B - A part I meant back in 2007, I dont really think that "heated argument" thing is true. If barringer some how would magically been friends with him, He might has some friends which is friends with batmobile too, which there isnt. Good theory though.
I seriously doubt that someone would just make a group and leave inmediatly after. If batmobile left the group, it probably would've been a few years later. Plus, someone would be needed to start getting members into the group, if your theory was true, that person would be batmobile. Before leaving the group, there would probably be a bunch of people whose names that start with the letter a. Plus, I seriously doubt that if barringer had the opportunity to change anything on the group that he wouldn't have done anything.

I think that my theory about barringer being the original owner and then batmobile leaving after seeing that he was offline all the time is the most possible. If they had friends in common, maybe they unfriended barringer for the same reason.

Also to when you said the him making the batmobile just doing the about, and barringer made the group, that is false. Only the Owner of a group can change the about in the group.
Wrong. The owner can give such permission to officers and moderators as well. Just make a beta group and try it yourself. You can even give permission to a mere member to change the group's description and picture, even make an announcement.

Welp, things can get pretty dramatic all of a sudden, lol. Who knows. :v

Oh nice but the whole thing about him leaving and removing friends about Barringer is pretty much false, because everything has the same sense of humor, grammar, and everything.
Maybe he didn't delete all the friends he had in common with barringer, but the friends that he had deleted him from his friendlist. it would be a coincidence, but still more possible than the group not having any member whose name started with the letter a.

What Paulord said is actually a common thing.

Besides, if we went by your theory

then the one who will be automatically promoted are those bots with ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ names since they're the first at the memberlist.

All that shit has happened since the very beginning of steam. Those bots have been on steam for 14 years. And so did all those classic internet dramas Paulord mentioned.
