The word Copypasta comes from the copy and paste commands which people use to post them, as well as the word Creepypasta which is a sort of short horror story. Copypastas are things that people copy and paste multiple times on the internet, usually with ridiculous claims or rants about something, for example a fake CGI cockatoo walking into a chocolate fountain. Some Copypastas have different variations too, most notably the Navy Seals Copypasta, also known as the Gorilla Warfare copypasta or Internet Tough Guy copypasta.

An example of a copypasta is:

"I sexually Identify as an Attack Helicopter. Ever since I was a boy I dreamed of soaring over the oilfields dropping hot sticky loads on disgusting foreigners. People say to me that a person being a helicopter is Impossible and I'm fucking retarded but I don't care, I'm beautiful. I'm having a plastic surgeon install rotary blades, 30 mm cannons and AMG-114 Hellfire missiles on my body. From now on I want you guys to call me "Apache" and respect my right to kill from above and kill needlessly. If you can't accept me you're a heliphobe and need to check your vehicle privilege. Thank you for being so understanding."

That was a true story, but now that I see it, I realize that it looks like a copy pasta.

I'm so fucking pissed at myself right now, and I feel like a complete and utter jackass.

My girlfriend and I were playing Terraria. We ended up getting raided by pirates only ten minutes into playing. She just happened to walk away, which was already kind of like a, "Well, shit" moment for me.

Long story short, the more I died, the more I started getting miffed at the game with these over powered ('fuck you, player' type beat) pirates. My girlfriend comes back and was genuinely confused why and how she died. I explained it to her and all, and that was that.

Few minutes in to fighting the pirates, she pulled out some chocolate in some quite loud foil. Instantly, considering the fact I was mad at the game, I was stupid enough to say, "Bruh, that's kind of loud and annoying as hell."

"Yeah, so what?" you may be thinking, "There's nothing wrong with that. You were annoyed and spoke up about it." In reality, it's not just that. She's very sensitive to anger. It makes her extremely sad, and she'll only talk when she wants to. I was fucking retarded enough to do this, so now I feel like I fucking hate myself because her insecurity of eating over the microphone came back. Good fucking job me! You successfully made your girlfriend feel like shit and cry! Nice job, you fucking awful cunt!
