I contacted the admin and he began typing almost immediately asking me what he can help me with so I told him and he then sent me a video of my account with a bunch of delete buttons he said I needed to prove I didn't do it after I asked him how can I prevent my account from being deleted and would I allow him to look through my items I was unsure if I could trust this guy or not so I looked online and found a comment from someone who said there aren't any duplicate items I then asked the "Admin" for extra time so I could look up some more about the problem online and he threatened me with a 40 minute time limit until he deleted my account permanently I then looked online some more for literally 3 minutes and he came back with I have 10 minutes left when I said to him but you just said 40 minutes he then said yes 40 minutes before he deletes my account but 10 minutes before the complaint is processed.

When I contacted him saying I don't know if he is a real admin or not because this has never happened to me before he came back with only admins can send videos of accounts with the delete buttons.

I then sent him a message saying I don't believe he is an admin and I will be contacting steam over this even though I wasn't totally sure but I was getting bad vibes from the guy.

I also believe my friends account was compromised as the way my friend worded his sentences didn't sound like himself and as soon as I contacted the "Admin" my "friend" went to the away notification and my friend just said something along the lines of just do everything the admin says also when I asked my "friend" if I could trust this guy he kept saying he has used him before and I can trust him 100%

All I need to know is if you guys think this was real or fake as I've already reported both accounts? so so sorry again if it's in the wrong thread I am just freaking out and I just need someone to confirm that this was fake.

I also tried looking online before doing this thread but the only fake admins I could find aren't like what I experienced so this is why I had to post this as I was still unsure.

if they had roles then they had permission management for the roles, that means they probably wanted to make sure the server doesn't get raided. it's kind of obvious that there would be a lot more announcements if they didn't stop people from doing it.
