[Oficial Thread] ECorp Mod
Hi,

I'm Talos, the developper of ECorp mod for >Hacknet_ .
I'm making this thread to let you discuss, report bug or anything else about ECorp.


** ECorp v0.5 Changelog ** FR Only - Removed all accents from FR version of the mod. - Remember to start a new game to proper load new content

Tips:
Here are some tips to help you in Ecorp Mod. There're no spoilers but if you think ECorp should be to hard for you just take a look.

  • Hacking all servers is not mandatory. Some of them are there just to provide content.
  • If you can't figure what to do next read again your assignement mail or try to run your toolZ on the servers you already hacked. And take a particular look at suspicious files like reports or logs.

How do you find the password for the hub?

Hi Atm0915,
Thanks for playing, you can find the admin password of ECorp hub simply by hacking the server, then after porthack thing, just click on login and you'll see the credentials admin/ .....

How do you get to the hub. Because I can not hack the Allsafe 2 server

* Answered * Made an update to v0.4.
- Renamed ECorp Server #1 to ECorp Hub Server to avoid confusion

Thanks but many of comments were already in the ExampleComputer files (Content/AdventureNetwork/Example*.xml )

Hello there!

I have a question regarding the mod. The nodes don't seem to load after I installed the mod. Should I search for their IP? Or are they supposed to be hidden and I am to wait for an email? What do I do?

Did you remember to start a new game after installing the mod? From what I gathered, the BootList is only loaded once during the savefile creation? I'm not sure about that last part, but to get any mods working you need to start a new game.

Hopefully the dev for the game puts in a way so you can load mods without restarting the game.

Hi there! Sorry for late answer, that new work is time consuming.
Yeah after you've installed Ecorp mod you need to start a new game to proper load the Ecorp content. Then you'll be able to get a contract from CSEC Hub Server.

Maybe i'm tired but i don't really understand your question.
If you ask for some modification of Hacknet to let you activate given mod in existing save, sorry but i won't be able to make it... not ATM.
For now, the only way we found to load mods is to restart a new game or playing with Hackmore.

So I'll suggest you to visit Hackmore topic.

Ah ? J'ai aucun problème de mon côté et n'ai eu aucun retour en ce sens. Je vais mettre à jour la version française et enlever les accents. J'editerais les parties correspondantes pour fournir le nouveau lien

Voilà comme convenu, je viens de mettre à jour la version FR du mod en 0.5.
Au programme:
_ suppression des accents qui pourraient causé des plantages du jeu.
