Custom sounds don't work in left 4 dead 2

Hey , there is a bug in l4d2 that makes it imposible to add custom sounds on the maps

The sounds don't work because they aren't cached and cannot be loaded from vpk .

Can someone fix this please ? Because I'm making a map and I want to add some custom sounds .

that is so confusing ....

I do the snd_buildsoundcachefordirectory when I'm on the map or in the menu ?
I hate my life :))

can someone add me on steam and explain to me how this works ?

is not easy for me to understand from that tutorial because :
1. english is not my first language
2. there are no explications for why do I need to do this and that

sorry , I don't want to sound rude .

I usualy watch video tutorials because sometimes I want to improvise .
