Feature Suggestions
When you subscribe to any item in the workshop you get the very unintuitive icon showing you that you have activity downloading items from the workshop(the l4d2 rotating symbol). May i suggest something along what GMod uses http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/541822093053819556/B408A876B6C90A4AAB5BA42C5C1FF8A3DEDE9102/ to show the status AND progress of the workshop item/items downloading.

I know the GMod interface is a little much but something better then what we have now to show downloading progress would be helpfull!

If anyone else has other suggestions please post your ideas ect..

yes this would be great !

I downloaded some maps from the workshop , and I was confuse because I didnt know if they are downloading ..

Btw , I think this would be nice too :

and ability to see all the servers that are online , not only the servers in your location ..because there are a lot of good servers with low ping around my country that I can't find.
I usually quit l4d2 because I cant find servers in the browser , and if I start a lobby only people from the zone selected on steam can connect .

So , add ping meter and let us see all the servers that are there starting from best ping to worst ping :D

It is very nice that they show up in the downloading lists. But sub categories, like which workshop item is downloading and a picture to go with "steam workshop" would be nice. Maybe the thumbnail of the workshop item.
