Since it would probably be helpful for others in the beta, feel free to update the wiki as you see fit. In the case of features that are new to the beta, you could tag them as such so to reduce confusion until we're out of beta.

This page talks about naming your vscript for a given map as such-

"scripted_"+ <map name> + <mutation name> + ".nut".

For the life of me i couldn't get it to load this using the simple example steps until I REMOVED "scripted" from the file name..

Is the wiki incorrect or is something else up?

Thanks, those are great suggestions! We have a long list of features that would be nice to have, but we'll be using the beta feedback to prioritize so keep them coming.

It's possible they're not signed in to the community, which is why they're not recognized as a friend. If they're definitely signed in and still can't see your content, let me know.

Another thing I'm concerned about. Why should I download all the subscribed addons if I don't have this game installed? I run steam on PC and laptop, but I don't need 7 Gb of addons on laptop because I don't have any games on it.

The second issue (downloading addons for a game that isn't installed) has been fixed. The first issue (duplicate copies of addons) will be fixed in the next Steam Client update - Steam will use the cache location only until a game consumes the content. Then the next time Steam is restarted, the cached content will be removed.

Maybe when the storage limit was changed it interfered with some accounts for some reason. Good that it's working again.

I'll look at that download dialog - the cached metadata on Steam can take some time (even days) to clear, so the tool is told that there are files to download even though they've been removed. It then correctly recognizes that the files don't exist and ignores them, but the progress dialog is probably getting updated before that happens.
