Been hearing reports, and confirm myself, of crashes when changing guns or items.
This has been happening for a while for some...
For me only started after today's update.
Read a lot of reports of this in the "discussions" places.
I'm trying to gather more feedback and information...
Already made a forum topic and couple of my own discussions topics (including for "beta").
Someone also stated having already contacted support and didn't get any where.
He went through all the usual troubleshooting methods as well (verify, re-install...)
Quite a problem we got here... rather game breaking.

There is also a "shortcut" in the second map of Dead Air that people are still doing.
Unfortunately, I don't recall the exact details... because I actually play the game.
My guess is you can jump/fall off a building top into a tree or onto a vehicle.
You'll be right at the hotel safe room area with little to no damage if done correctly.
Seen and heard of many people doing this lately... especially those "speed running" types.

I do know there is still a window shortcut possible in map 1 of Dead Center.
Perhaps it's the one GShock mentioned?

I can still view my addons list, however.
For me, it's just that animation next to the menu option never stops animating.
Also, not sure if it's related, but, sometimes when I view my addons list the game crashes.

Been getting this message, "Unable to enumerate user's subscribed files!", in the console after witnessing some kind of loading animation next to the "add ons" menu option. I currently do not subscribe to anything in the Workshop, so I'm curious why this is happening. I have not seen this menu behavior happen before until yesterday.

As I said, have you been watching your emails? Check your junk mail folders as well.
I had to use an activation key sent to my email.

You should get sent an email. I got mine from Jonny, but yea, you might get one from Chet himself. Check any filters you might have, as mine got filtered and I didn't notice right away. Once you get the email, I think what happens is you get a key you will need to activate within the Steam client and then you can download the beta and the beta tools.

Since last night, there appears to be a problem with adding images to our "items" on the Workshop. They appear to be uploaded fine, however, they don't seem to appear for me when I "go back to my item". They show up in the list after being uploaded, but then you just see blank blackness (using Firefox) when going back to the "item". Is this a Cloud issue? Where ever images go on "cloud.steampowered.com"... I notice quite often the most issues come from "cloud-2.steampowered.com" being most stubborn. Not sure if any relation, but lots of broken screenshots from users are often from "cloud-2"... not just on Workshop either... any sort of screenshots taken from any game. Previously uploaded screenshots are still showing up, it just seems adding new ones is broken at the moment.

Fair enough.
On that note, tagging would be great... filter out the silly anime and childish pony crap.
I think the reason filtering was removed from l4dmaps.com was due to too heavy resources on their servers, but not sure if this would also cause the same strain on Valve's.

Seriously, Valve did a great job on her design.
Really, are there still people who don't know about Sonja Kinski?
Zoey's real life model is attractive, bottom line, Valve has good taste.
I also think some parts of Portal 2's new Chell design came from Zoey.
Even go as far as to say Rochelle's model was attractive, shame people still hate on Ro...
