Survivor Swap is a Co-op mutation and it does exactly as the title sounds. It swaps the survivor set around for official Campaigns.

United We Stand is a Survival mutation that's meant to be played on L4D2 Survivor Campaigns. The L4D1 Survivor bots spawn and assist you in trying to survive.

A Co-op mutation I created with help from my friend, giving ideas/suggestions and testing it. Only one of each weapon will be available, and only common Infected spawn. The Infected may be slow, but they pack a punch. Only headshots will kill the Infected. If you get incapacitated you'll be auto-revived, but an Infection timer will appear. You have 2 minutes to live until the Plague kills you.

I agree being able to set Convars via VScript would open up a lot more possibilities.

Regarding forcing zombie models. It works, but only if the population.txt file allows that infected to spawn. Using the following would spawn Riot zombies in c5m1_waterfront, but not in maps like c1m1_hotel:


I do hope there'll be a way to force Uncommon Infected and other Infected models for Mutation use without needing to edit the population.txt file.

Yes IsDying() would be useful. I set IsDead() to a survivor but it currently doesn't fire until about 5 seconds after death. IsDying() would be useful if it fires almost instantly upon death.

Interesting suggestion shotgunefx. This would be useful to support non-survivor NPC's as well.

I was always wondering about something like an info_l4d2_survivor_spawn entity, that would only work in L4D1 survivor maps if the mission file had "survivor_set" set to "1". It would function the same as the info_l4d1_survivor_spawn, but it would instead spawn the L4D2 survivor bots helping the L4D1 survivors. Like a reverse of The Passing Port.
