split() returns an array of strings, converting all numerical values to strings.

You created a new line as a string literal. In Windows, newlines are \r\n, not just \n. It's reading the split as:

entitygroups/buildable_ladder_group\r != entitygroups/buildable_ladder_group

Here's a new list of functions that many would love to see (I deleted my old post since some functions in that old list were re-created in vslib):

SetEntityMoveType() SetEntityModel() SetAbsVelocity() for physics props StopSoundOnClient() OnInfectedSpawn() callback to change infected OnEntitySpawn() callback HideHUD() to set m_iHideHUD to 64 GetInfectedSpawnNavLocation() to get infected spawn pos given a radius ExtinguishFire() to put out an ignited entity GetEntityFlags() so we can see if the entity is on the ground, in the water, etc SendMenuToClient() basically menu usermessage ChangeLevel() CreateFakeClient() create a bot which we can set a model and name SetConVarValue() to set new cvar on client GetConVarValue() to get cvar value on client ExecConCommand() ChangeClientTeam() for some cool mutation ideas we have date() - a standard squirrel function to retrieve current server time SetEntityCollisionGroup() -- needed for physics related stuff (e.g. pickup and throw)

Crashes including stock entity groups

Precache relevant models before including them. I am not aware of any kind of automatic precache-- the engine needs to be told to do a late precache unfortunately.

VSLib::Utils::PrecacheModel( model )

The vslib spawn functions automatically precache for you, so I recommend using them:

I use those stock functions in my stranded mutation.

How did you get those orbit rotation circles and translation arrows? Is that a custom particle or sprite?
