Community Involvement Update: 02/05/16

Hello everyone inside the Linux Archive, I am thankful once again to all of you who have joined us and some of whom even participating inside discussions and recommendations to increase the usefulness and enjoyment you get inside of this ever growing group! Despite all that this is a update announcement to those out there looking to get there name out there but also looking to help the group expand helping those needing certain information on a specific game.

What I am asking for is Steam reviews or reviews possibly based on your own external site, If you are able to write a professional review showing pros and cons and a overall review to a Linux based game which has been curated on the Linux archive I am now allowing you to post your reviews here or on the groups comment section to then be picked out and linked to the curated review, you review will be shown as the full review linking those who follow the curator page to your review of a game across those games on Steam!

It's a great way to get your name out a professional review writer but also a great way to help the archive grow as a community, If you are interested please post your reviews below, they must obviously be for a Linux platform based game, Be on the Steam marketplace, Be written in the English language however it can be translated between two alternate languages for a wider audiences if you are capable, it should also be formal and well written not too jokey or short.

Thank you all for your time and interest into Linux Archive!
Have a great rest of the day / night,
- QWERTY

Group Recommendations Update - 01/05/16

Thanks for checking in and joining us as a community, recently I have been contacted via the groups comments about removing further and past post for all games which are being place under 'recommended' games although I was simply putting they do not support Linux platform, Source here:

Huyderman
It doesn't really make any sense to recommend games that don't support Linux, even if you note it in the recommendation. It will still be a recommendation, and make it harder to spot the ones that do support Linux.

Thanks to this member putting this forward to me, I can clearly understand the issue this would bring so from now on all curated and reviewed/'recommended' games will ONLY be Linux supported, this will then make it so if you are following the curator page any game which I have curated/tested and reviewed the Linux Archive logo shall appear around the Store page approving the games support.

Thanks for reading, Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!
- QWERTY
