Would like to collaborate with some writers and builders for an upcoming long story/series machinima project in gmod with various characters. Send me pms, Friend Requests, and info. Here's what I really need:


Writers: No more than 3 or 4

I will have a chief writer who will brainstorm ideas with me, and the other writers will work on writing dialogue for the different scenes and storyboarding, which will be sent back to me and my chief, who will edit them for time and continuity.

Should have a flexible schedule, able to work on the project over the weekends and after 5PM Central Standard Time, speak decent english(only because I don't want to have to learn Russian or Farsee or whatever for this project)MUST be able to communicate with other people once recruited, MUST be able to write funny and serious dialogue(need an example? Watch RVB, Arby N' the Chief, or ANYTHING by DJY1991/Bo Schitt/Dom Fera) If possible, please submit something that let's me get a taste of what y

Builders: Maybe 2 or 3

Must know how to build with PHX, Wire, and pretty much be an awesome builder type player because I don't know ♥♥♥♥ about building. Best way to get on my build team is to invite me to a game and show me what you can do. Let me know what you use so if I have to download it I can ahead of time.

Actors: About 5 or 6, maybe more down the line if this develops well.

Actors/actresses should have a firm grasp of how their character/ragdoll behaves in GMod, and should be able to voice script accordingly, being still and moving a character or ragdoll.

Other: As needed

Someone that can work well in After Effects, also someone that can mix music well, not rap, if you want to sell me rap, don't bother. I don't have anything against rap, it just doesn't fit for this series.
Will also need some people to help market this(not sell it, just spread it)

Writers will work with me to create a decent script episode by episode and builders will fill in details set by the script on maps where needed.
Actors will be called on an as-needed basis...kinda like the real thing. Actors will be needed only after writing is done for each episode.
I can do most of the filming and editing, though every once in a while I may ask for help in that department.

Credits will be given in each episode where work was done. If you get recruited and didn't contribute to an episode, you won't be in the credits for that episode, but don't worry, you'll have another chance next episode!

I'd like to work seriously on this when necessary, but I also want everyone involved to have fun. I know it looks like I'm asking alot from people, but it's only because I want this to be a very successful project.

well im amazed, group was created 6 days ago and already 54 members and 1034.9hrs in gmod

id be a really good idea to make a private server (tell everyoone in this group the pass,duh!) and talk about it in there and not in here.

52/50 cant wait to do the first machinima i hear its going to be in tf2 but I havnt gotten any details as to the theme the map or what its about, neither have i heard who will be working with it, i geuss who ever sees the event

How old you want your actors to be, and also how experienced they are and how long it might take : P .. Feel free to ask me anything ... I check daily and will help almost anybody with machinima if im not busy

And I don't know if we ever go non-public ... I like to keep the concept of machinma open to all ... And besides .. more is better and you'll have a greater chance of somebody coming to help you

Fraps is prefered for smoother recording ... Xfire is decent aswell (also free) ... I dont care if you use a torrent for fraps .. Full version is prefered ... A decent PC is also nice for smoother machinima : )
