What are the reasons for rendering in a higher FPS?
The default setting and standard for most movies is 24fps but as a newer guy to the cinematic terminology and how it all works together, what exactly are the reasons for rendering a movie in 30fps upwards to 60 fps?

I think I remember hearing something about how it can create a slow-mo matrixing kind of effect but I may be confusing that with something else.

The less frames per second, the more motion blur you get, 24 is the standard for movies because it's not as much work and you can get away with more.
(At least I think that's the reason.)

The animation tends to be a little cleaner because you have more frames to manipulate. If you set the camera up correctly it can look really good without any post processing added.

30 FPS and motion blur are fine settings for rendering, since very few people can notice the difference between that and 60 FPS (I honestly can tell the difference) and it doesn't take longer to render.
24 FPS are okay, but I never liked seeing an SFM film with those settings.
