SFM freeze with no session window
i dont believe this is the startup freeze problem some people seem to be having, but when i start up SFM, the usual logo comes up, then the NO SESSION thing with all that. but no window that asks for a session, the usual un-supported graphics card thing comes up, and isnt frozen, but once im past that, SFM freezes, no session window comes up.

any ideas? i really dont want to reinstall this, it takes FOREVER due to it also downloading all of the tf2 resources, and because i have alot of models added.

"Usual un-supported graphics card..."

I assume it has something to do with that. I've never experienced it before on any of my computers. Have you ever had SFM working, or did it just recently start happening?

the graphics card thing has always come up. at one point i was using a computer with a poor processor, to which SFM ran slowly, but the graphics card was great. so the shading came out better. you can see the difference in shader quality in my posters here

so i dont think its that. thanks for your opinion though.

P.S. if an admin/mod sees this, please un-ban me from the chat, im not sure why i was banned in the first place

I have been having the same problem, but I know a way around it.
1.Right click on SFM.
2.Go to Properties.
3.Type this command:-sfm_loadsession
4.Find the directory of one of your old session files.
(If you can't find one,let me know.I'll upload a .dmx on MediaFire for you to download.)
5.Paste the directory of the .dmx file(Remember to put the actual .dmx file name at the end and the extension.)after the command.
Example:
-sfm_loadsession D:\Games\steamapps\common\SourceFilmmaker\game\usermod\elements\sessions\default.dmx
6.Try starting it up,if it works, you now have access to SFM again! :D

Hope this helps!
