Extract phonemes problem
I've been following the valve tutorials but when i recorded my own voice using the SFM with the Y hotkey it saves fine playbacks fine, Although when i extract phonemes on an engineer character it doesn't work, The engineer is a HWM model, All i have done to him is pose him and animated his head shaking left and right slightly, When i add a new Engineer HWM model and extract the phonemes it works fine.. so i can't understand what's gone wrong.

Any ideas? or could someone tell me how to copy the pose of a existing model and paste it onto another so i can just replace the model and not have to pose him again.

Have you done the hide\show waveform stuff? Have you elected thinly the engineer head?
Anyway to copy the pose of the character you can right click in motion editor (with the whole time selected) and click on"copy samples" then import the new model and paste the samples on it... Hpe you ti d the way to fix your stuff! ;)

Adding onto the above, you would want to only have the facial controls selected when copying/pasting the samples.

Yeah only my bit of audio is on show waveform, I don't know what you mean by "Selected thingly the engineer head"
But thanks for the info i ended up replacing the engineer and coping the pose :)

I also noticed i have a scout HWM model in his default laugh animation and if i try to extract phonemes on him it also has no effect, So it must be something to do with posing the model/putting a animation on them that's causing the face to lock or something.
Thanks for the quick replies.

Oh and when i go to edit the face animation in the motion editor the phonemes tab isn't there from what I've googled others are having this problem too.
