More lately I've seen a lot of Gmod and SFM videos that make use of all the sorts of classy sounds we might remember from Looney Tunes or other cartoons of the sort. I'm wondering what sound effects libraries other people have used - previously I've done "okay" at just searching various websites for the specific sound I know I need, but it almost seems like most of the great sound effects I hear in movies I couldn't really give a "name" to.

Random examples I can think of: The "slide" sound made by some instrument as someone pops their head up over something, or around a corner; a heavy "blink" sound made after something awkward is said; a "dash" sound as someone runs off, disappearing in a cloud of smoke (though it's not like I'm just looking for those 3 specifically)
