I am trying to make an animation with a giant robot heavy, however, the standard minigun muzzle flash is too small for his huge minigun. How can I resize the particle effect?

I tried both this and this method, but neither worked.

^this. I had the same problem as the OP, but only with avi, MP4 should work. however, youtube doesn't seem to accept MP4, at least for me ;__;

I'm working on a comedy project playing on 2fort. I had the idea of including a "this is sparta"-scene where an engie kicks down a sniper from the balcony. So I would need the two voice lines "This is madness" from the sniper (although it doesn't need to sound remotely like him" and "madness? THIS IS 2FOOORT" from the engie (doesn't need to sound like him either). Any help would be very appreciated.
Please note that this is my first SFM project, so don't expect yourself to be in the credits of a 100,000 view video. I'm doing my best though and I think it will be not that bad.

Thomas Larson did pretty good with this walking tutorial. At least it helped me a lot.

I really need a tutorial on removing body parts. With that I mean, for example, removing the spy's body so only the head is left for a scene where the medic talks with his spy head. I would highly appreciate it if anyone could help me.

I don't entirely understand.... Bird poop in 3d? I mean, I only know that little white splats which you always accidentally step on... Don't really know how to do that in 3d. Why don't you just create little bird poop-sprays and import them?
