Help with importing L4D2 models
Awesome, don't feel bad. I took 2 days to get it to work :) - just had that moment of inspiration this morning :)
Hi

The way that I did it, was to extract the L4D2 stuff to a folder. Extract the fixed L4D2 files from the fix thing. Ran the "FixModels.bat" file that was included in the Fix pack.

Then I copied the Materials / Models across to the "Fixed" L4D2 folder, being careful not to override anything.

Edited the gameinfo to only load up the "Fix" folder and deleted the rest of the L4D2 extract. Source crashes immediately if I added "Particles" so keep that one out. Barring one texture on a female infected common which is not rendering out, all others work including the maps
