Yes, there are basics you can follow (from the valve tutorials) but animating itself is something you can only learn yourself as he said 'right way to animate' doesn't excist. I use graph editor but others use motion or both. The only way to get better is to put a lot of time in it, follow the 12 principles of animation and its a good place to start.

Also I'm really sorry if it sounds like I'm desperate for views (which I am a bit) It's okay to critique it cuz I know this video ain't perfect actually far from. I'm sorry if it feels like I'm trying to self promote myself out there but I have no choice, I want this video to get at least a decent amount of views, I worked months on this and I know I'm no match for winglet or any other good anymator but sooner or later I'll get to that level but you guys need to give me a chance. then you may have used a wrong soldier model, to be able to acces that you need a HWM\soldier model, and if that don't work, then I have no idea srry
