Are the textures in the correct directory? When compiling the models did you make sure the correct texture directory was specified in $cdmaterials?

The .ncf files in the steamapps directory don't actually contain the files.

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2 and open the pak01_dir.gcf or just look through the folders because some of Left 4 Dead 2's files aren't in GCF files.

When I place soundclips in their track groups, I can't drag them and they stay locked in their initial position. I can't remember when this happened but it started happening not too long ago. Any help would be appreciated.

theyre in the .vmt texture files of models, refer to https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Category:List_of_Shader_Parameters for the list of applicable texture effects

Check the vmt files, theyre probably missing something. Have you followed step 8 and 9 of cyborgmatt's dota 2 import tutorial? ( http://www.cyborgmatt.com/2012/07/dota-2-sfm-tutorial/#sfm-step-8 )

I would like to know if it's possible to mirror an SFM animation (as in duplicate it, but everything is swapped from right to left and vice versa, like a mirror)

Just because I was wanting to do dance numbers n' that sorta stuff..

I doubt that it is the textures because they seem to work fine on the original model :\ I'll put up the model compile log if anyone can help out there. There are a couple of errors but I don't know if they'd cause the problem with SSAO. P.S. I used the Notepad++ way to compile the model.

Okay, so I've been trying to rebuild RandomTalkingBush's Hatsune Miku model with modified bone hierarchy, so I can apply an IK rig to it (previously it had 5 bones for each limb). So far everything is working fine, except for one thing...

When in SFM and SSAO is applied through camera settings, the model becomes bugged and SSAO is able to be seen in objects directly behind the recompiled model.

If anyone knows whats going on and/or wants to help me fix it, I'd appreciate the help. After all, I'd gladly release the modified model once it's done for use by anyone in the OSFM community. ;D
