Anyone who's played "Tales from the Borderlands" may have noticed that the credits had a certain founder of OSFM credited in the development team and I feel that it should be acknowledged on the group.

Every so often when I download something from the SFM Workshop I get the follow Message:

Workshop File Conflict
Two subscribed workshop items both contain the follow file:
materials\models\weapons\c_items\c_smg.vmt
You can keep the file from the existing workshop item:
TF2: Enhanced SMG
Or overwrite the file with the one from the new workshop item:
Automatic Pistols SMG

Do you want to overwrite the existing file with the new one?

These two items just happen to be very similar in the fact they are two guns but sometimes its completely unrelated models like a vehicle and a cosmetic item

What I would like to know is will this break textures or models by saying yes or no to this? and What exactly is it doing?

Holy Gaben! Did you really just capitalize every single word in that paragraph, I'm sorry but you need to learn English as quickly as possible.

In regards to your question, there is no real place for SFM content, I find the workshop is a good place for beginners and if you feel like learning something, try looking through the TF2 Facepunch emporiums, I've started using those skins as models to get some diversity in my scenes.

What you can also try is using certain map props that are texture on both side (an example being this alarm bell http://tf2.gamebanana.com/skins/127675) and use it as a prop inside the scene you are building.

I personally also like using certain misc skins that people have created (but either not uploaded to the SFM workshop or only uploaded to the TF2 workshop) such as this gas can http://tf2mods.net/mod.php?id=811 and I use it as a prop instead of using it as the Misc Item that it was originally intended as.

It's a lot of manual searching unfortunately; Best of luck to you.

No, its not late at all, I've done what you said however the model doesn't show up, I get no wireframe model in the viewer and when its loaded it also will not show up?

What exactly am I doing wrong?

How do I add skins to weapons that I've downloaded from sites like Gamesbanana and the like? I would like to add a skin/new model that was originally made for the axtinguisher, it is a custom model of the ban hammer.

Any help is kindly appreciated.

I'm waiting until the kinect for the Xbone is made compatible with mocapping, I know I'll be waiting for awhile but I feel like the improved upon depth sensors and capture will be worth it.

Does anyone know of any good maps were made for specifically SFM scenes, I'm trying to learn Hammer to fill in my needs for certain scenes but that got me thinking about what kind of maps do people know about that were designed for SFM?

If you do know of any maps post a link to it, that would help both me and anyone else out too.

How would I go about getting something to reflect what is in front of it in SFM?
I know it is possible because the reference I am using is the "Meet The Sniper" video, where he is brushing his teeth and looking in the mirror.

sorry if its a little hard to see, it was just the X-position on the editor when I took it.

I've just started getting into animating with SFM and I am practicing my first walk cycle but I came across this peculiar problem.

I have the Graph Editor set to stepped lines so it does not automatically fill in the gaps, it just goes from pose to pose so I can more easily comprehend where I am in the cycle.

The thing is I do not know if I hit a certain keyboard shorcut by accident or what but I somehow managed to make only 3 of my keyframes stepped and then it started to make them splined (with the curves on the line).

If anybody knows what keyboard shortcut I might have inadvertently activated it would be most helpful so I could avoid this in the future.
