The default setting and standard for most movies is 24fps but as a newer guy to the cinematic terminology and how it all works together, what exactly are the reasons for rendering a movie in 30fps upwards to 60 fps?

I think I remember hearing something about how it can create a slow-mo matrixing kind of effect but I may be confusing that with something else.

This is just an idea that popped into my head but since there are models for the Administrator, Ms. Pauline, the Civilian, the Director, and Saxton Hale (if you use the one off of the TF2 modded gamemode "TF2 vs Saxton Hale")

There is however no models for the Mann family, that is to say, Blutarch and Redmond, Zephaniah, or Grey Mann.

Just think of the possibilities of what could be made with them.

I would like to request a map for a project I'm trying to get started that has the cinematic style of Tony Jaa's "The Protector." For those who have not seen this movie there is a specific scene where the main character is going up a restaurant building with a spiral staircase. On each level the protagonist kicks the butts of multiple assailants. The most unique part of this entire scene is it was shot in one entire take, no cuts or edits until he gets to the top.

I'm absolutely horrible at Hammer and all I'm looking for is a staircase that spirals in the same way as the videos above, No doors (as I would have to animate those later in SFM) and 6 Levels of sairs that are fairly wide for a fight between two TF2 Characters with enough room for them to move easily (I'll leave that up to the mapper, all I ask is they are all the same size)
