Could it comes from the defaultanimationgroups.txt ?

I'm not on my comp right now but i think there's 4 for each limb.
4 for the legs and 3 or 4 for the arms.

There is no pelvis but I used the root node for this one. there's a neck and a head too.

Hey guys, I've tried many things, doing my own rig with valve tutorial, using the classic rig script, biped_dota rig, and the autorigging script from the workshop.
Nothing worked as intended, SFM keeps telling me that he can't create the rig, so I'm asking you guys if you could manage to make this for me ?

I dont really understand why it doesnt works at all.

Btw, is there a way to have more information about rigging failure ? Telling me that my script doesnt works aint helping.

Hey guys, since IT5 contest is now officially on the road, I make this thread for helping everyone ( including myself :p ) to set up SFM with dota content.

If someone with up to date knowledge could explain how to install dota 2 content It would be really appreciated.
Cyborgmatt's tutorial is now 3 years old ( http://www.cyborgmatt.com/2012/07/dota-2-sfm-tutorial/ ).

Because it takes hours to set up, can someone answers theses questions ?

1) Install dota's asset.
2) Find a working rig for custom models (including the ones on the workshop).

If no one have answers, I will try anyway this weekend to set up this, but if someone could save me some time i would appreciate it :)

PS : I installed it on my desktop like 8 months ago and it worked, I remember it was a pain to install though.

When you play your clip, you have a low quality rendered, you can even see the pixels (not like before).

This is for performance issues, it works the same as some settings like shadow radius, aperture, camera/lighting related.

Yes i do, but only with downloadable addon in the sfm (I don't want to download the whole game for just some items)

Feel free to add me for lighting stuff, I've done some work for a couple of guys some days ago. I'm also a decent animator so i can improve existing animations and camera/light settings in general.
