ewhen you modify the materials just type "mat_reloadallmaterials" to refresh your content without closing down sfm.

Why would you not want to use an IK rig? those are just hwm flexes no? The game models dont have hwm faces and if your just exporting an animaiton then face flexes wont be compiled into the model anyway so it shouldent affect your animaitons at all once you export the dmx. As long as you bake the animaiton.
