ya know what? i'm liking where this is going. in fact, i have a fun idea. maybe we could do it up like a Youtube Tennis, where each one of us does an episode, swapping out. it would start with me, then, lets say, GMan, and then you, rebel. then back to me. that way, we can each get a sense of the other's tallent as a whole AND each of us would have equal control of the plot progression, adding our own twists to the tale. but i would like to keep it semi-serious. nothing too insane please. also, we would have to share eachothers assets, so that if one adds a new thing, that the rest of us can use it too.

oh wow. i had posted this a loooong time ago. at one point i had thought no one even noticed, and had shelved the project. in this case, i'll have to get back to you on that, and dig up what files i still have lying around.

Progress Report 1:
mostly prep work at this point. wanting to get my shit in order before beginning actual production.
- manually updated SFM files to bring in MvM/Scream Fortress 2012 content.
- found some LoZ music, still gathering more.
- Decided on a map for the Tf2 end of things.
- hashed out finer details of the plot.

To do:

- find working models of Zelda and Ganon that are functional in SFM.
- havent gotten around to finding Temple of Time map. need to get on that
- still need to find Zelda/ Gannon sound bytes. contemplating bringing in Voice actors.

this project that i'm concocting is essentially my official foray into SFM. while i have experience with the tool and its ins and outs, as well as filmmaking in general. i havent managed to post anything significant to Youtube. with this project i hope to remedy that. i will tell you now that there WILL be multiple parts, each part possibly spanning multiple videos due to time/machine constraints.

OPENING PLOT:
the tale opens with the conclusion of the Robo-Wars. the remaining mercenaries, victorious over their metalic agressors, celebrate and regroup, while pondering what to do next with their lives.

Meanwhile, in the realm of Hyrule, Ganon has just been banished though a dimensional rift, never to be seen again. or so the universe thought....

by some cosmic disturbance, Ganon emerges from the rift into the TF2niverse, seizing control of the now-leaderless robot hordes in an attempt to build a new dark empire, and it falls to the mercenaries to stop him.

but as they battle Ganon, they soon discover that he is not working alone....

but if not alone...then with WHO?

INITIAL NEEDS:

Zelda model*
Ganondorf model*
possibly hi-res models of the Seven Sages (OOT or TP will work)
Temple of Time map for some initial scenes.
Ganon/Zelda sound bits so they're not just standing there speechless.

* i know that Zelda and Ganon models are out there, but ganon is somewhat outdated and zelda has issues when trying to pose the face. building/rebuilding the phoneme tables does nothing, and not a single slider responds.

so if you can contribute something to/have an idea for this project feel free to respond!
