Hello Deathtrooper here, ive have been recently been trying to create a Warhammer 40k themed SFM vid. I have been in collaboration with the guys on Facepunch with making a Warhammer 40k SFM video. And basically, i need help with it.

Here is a list of the kind of people we need:

Motion Capture, people who can motion capture animations.
Particle effect editors, we need some custom particles for some of the weapons.
Lighting effects,
And maybe, some model porters, because we need a bunch of Warhammer themed scenebuild models, probably from Space Marine or DOW2 retribution.
Voice Actors.
Etc.

Well here is just a simple synopsis of what the video is going to be based on. So far the basic plot is that a regiment of the Imperial Guard is sent to one of the many Human colonies of the Imperium to investigate the appearance of an unknown Xeno presence (I wont tell the identity of the race just yet, thats something im trying to keep down). For now, the planet is mostly going to be artic/tundra. So mostly Snow models, mountains, and other type of models like that.

If you help in the creation of this video, your help will be greatly used in this huge project.

Um, what kind of animation would it be, im pretty good at large scale battle scenes.

Well would putting copyright on your video, would that work?

Valve was saying that they wanted people to make sfm vids with different universes instead of just tf2 ones this year. So can we use any that we want, or just the ones valve got permission to use.

Sounds awesome. Maybe i can put you as one of the Main characters, since you can sound like Judi Dench, probably some alien queen or something like that. :). If you can, send me a voice recording of your impression.

Sure, that sounds great. Havent really thought of having original music, i was wondering of using like SCI-FI kind of music like the music from the Original starcraft.

Hello Deathtrooper here, well ive been coming up with this SCI-FI story for almost 1 and a half years for now. Well i was planning on joining a company and making a video game on my idea. But, im still 16, so thats not going to happen, BUT IN THE PRESENT.

Heres a small backstory, if i would tell you the whole thing, i would have to talk for about a week.

For 50 years, the enemy threat known as the Praetorians have invaded the Outer colonies of the Sol Empire. With the armies in the billions, the Praetorians have caused unspeakable horrors onto the Sol Empire.

My series will NOT be focused on one character, actually these videos are showing the current state of the war going on.

I will make a series about a person in my story, but i suck at scripting for lines, so if any of you super talented script writers want to help.
Also i am using a bunch of models from other games like the Xenians from Black Mesa, the mechs from Black Light, and ship models from mods and EVE online. Better make damn sure we tell the guys over at EVE that their models are THERES.
Those guys love lawsuits, no shitting.

Maybe if this becomes a hit, maybe we can attract custom modellers and i could talk them into making the aliens and military stuff in my story so i dont have to burrow any shit.
