i got max 10 items / week. Never more! :(

i idled for ten hours and got 22 items. wtf?

Theres a weekly item limit. They do stack but just try again a week from your last item drop. I believe the item limit was at 7 but not sure now.

I will idle until all idle servers are offline. Idling is still the most productive item farming techinque in TF2. And it's a huge time saver, because not all people have time to spend 50 hours per week to catch all items ...

anyone that doesnt know how to use textmode idling go to game options and type the command '-textmode' run the game in a text format and use the servers panel in steam to connect to servers and idle in spec

I think the current drop system is good as it is, absolutely fine with it. The only thing to complain about would probably be the drop cap. =/
It is kinda frustrating if you're one of those who play TF2 a lot, and you've reached your cap, but everyone around you is still getting drops or even hats. Maybe they should make a daily cap, as in, two itemy every day, or something. Since some of us already reach their cap in one or two days, depending on how drops fall. =| Ah well, we will see what Valve does with it, i guess.

Just idle once a week, if you really still want to.
Or, I dunno, you could try actually playing the game?
I've had a hard time not leaving TF2 open every night, like I used to.

(Oh, I never got a chance to get a halo, since I started playing after the 'Idlecaust', never used third party tools, and just idled like they want you to.)

Idle all you want mate, you just won't get more items then someone who doesn't idle, that's the whole point of the update... but I guess that didn't come through with some people.

well, now we must find another way to pass their system, or no? :D
