I think this is true. It worked for the yogscasts twitch stream.

aparently if you turn of barbs, city states, turn timer and ruins the game doesnt encounter the bug... is that true or has sombody told me rubbish?

Good news, people! After a while of inactivity, Firaxis finally announced that they found the cause of the bug, and so it should be fixed shortly! Any questions, just message me!

I can not seem to seem ot create an event, I propose chat room by 7pm GMT for discussion on who to host and final rules etc etc.I will try being there from 6pm GMT time.

Perhaps we can split this further into groups of people who want to play on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. I am sure people have different preferences.

Yes, it's only the last small patch that broke it, so it shouldn't be a big deal to fix, and they're usually quite good with support.

Are firaxis fixing multiplayer?

Currently MP doesn't work, so nothing is being organized for the moment.

We should organize a game soon...
