basically, A lot of countries currencies prices go up, and the rest of the countries prices go down an May 17-18 2021 (like a final sale before removing I think)

I have the old version and yes it recognizes as a steam game as well as Ubisoft connect, though the UI ingame is old Uplay. Steam even gives you the original key for ubisoft/uplay when you launch the game on steam, but it should bind to your ubisoft account automatically.
