A few questions about UV mapping and stuffs
Herros :) I am a 3D modeler and I think I will be trying out this rust workshopness soon. I have been creating mesh for SecondLife, CGTrader, and other random ♥♥♥♥ for about 6 years now.

I've got 2 questions before I dip my toe into this. Do the UV Maps on the models we work on need to stay as they originally are or can me change the UV mapping? My second question is can we change or add onto the models? For example, if I wanted to add studs on the work boots, would that solely need to be done with texture or could I put physical studs on there with it's own mapping and rigging?

I have noticed quite a few variations on the axe lately so that's what got me thinking that maybe we can make changes to the actual mesh itself? and these people doing these different styles of axes are they re-uv mapping or keeping the maps the same?

And if I were to make a brand new piece of clothing for the rust characters, mapped it, rigged it, textured it, all that. Would it be at all possible for it to be implimented into the game? Like, put it up on workshop and if enough people like it would the devs maybe add it in?
