[✓] - Passenger Trains
Since we already have a variety of freight cars to make a standard goods train. I thought it'd be a nice idea to have a dedicated passenger train. Like maybe either a subway/metro or a high speed train.

I already know there exists coaches and the Metrostroi content. But those can be pretty complicating to get running. Not to mention the lag.

Hm yes, a dedicated passenger train like subway/metro could be possible but no high speed train I'm afraid. I could make one in the future. But at the moment I have already a few trains on the todo list. So it could take a while.

I let this suggestion undecided for now.

I will make a metro like train based on the Stadler Siemens BR 483.
This suggestions will be started after the SW Train Cars rework. :steamthumbsup:

Can I tack on a mini-suggestion as part of this? I've noticed that this train is typically a two-car, but also has a regular carriage section. It would be nice to have this as well - just in case it would be missed.

So, next week I will start with this project. I also saw post #4
My plan is to build the normal 2 wagon variant and a 3 and 4 wagon variant.
These trains will be spawn completely assembled and not as separate segments.

Means: They will spawn like my Bus or the Blue-X12, very long and completely assembled. :steamthumbsup:

Technical reasons. You will not be able to open the doors from the driver cabin of hooked up segments. I don't want that. At the moment our system only supports light through segments / separate train cars. So it will be spawn completely assembled.
As a compromise I wanted to make the 3 and 4 wagon variant.

At the beginning, I planned only the assembly from the picture you get when googling the Stadler Siemens BR 483. To be precise, this one:

So the 3-4 wagon variant can be seen as a bonus but must be spawn completely assembled.

I was going to add on to this thread by suggesting something like a BR 422 or 430-styled train, but the 483 is a really good idea as well. Can't wait to see your rendition of it!
