Also, we were able to fix the main problem. It was a general problem with spawning SW vehicles and there parts. Conflicting addons just showed this issue very precise in our cases but weren't really the cause of it.

I will prepare all affected addons for the fix and work as fast as I can since we had this issue now a whole month going. I will respond here and close the reports if the fix go live.

I like the idea. I always wanted to create more service vehicles, especially tow trucks. But I want to rework the cranes / forklift first to get the stuff more physical before I will make new stuff.

At the moment they work non physical what bothers me.
If I find a way that make it worthwhile for new tow trucks, then I will create them!

We worked together to find out it was a addon conflict and a source engine side effect problem.

The shifted parts are interfering the movement, because the train slider is broken too. Thats the reason why they wont drive in your game.

BUT:

I showed you a video that I recently recorded. It shows that the trains work.

Therefore it's highly unlikely that it breaks just now somehow in your game.
Please check your addons and follow the Troubleshooting Guide.

Find the addon that is causing the conflict and disable it for now until we can work on the source engine side effect problem that cause your problem here.

These methods worked since... don't know years or longer. I can't remember.


But like I said, it sounds like an addon conflict.
We worked on another bug report a few days ago where we tested all trains and there was no problem driving them. Beside that, there was no update since 21.Dec.2024.

Therefore it's highly unlikely that it breaks just now somehow. Please check your addons and follow the Troubleshooting Guide.
