I tried for ages, during what i think was about the peak of space marines popularity, to organise some sort of aus space marine community. The best i could do was get 3 other people to play 1 game. So often i would check the groups chat after playing a game of somthing only to find that one after the other a dozen people had joined the chat, seen 1 person there, didnt say anything, then left.

I mentioned this alot in the other aussie sm group so i may as well mention it here. All steam groups have a group chat. From that group chat you can right click on somones icon and either join thier game or invite them to a game of your own. Its like a temporary freind list. You can also chat ofcourse. If you guys are serios about organising gaems with one another you should just join the chat room. Even if it is empty you can just leave it open and do or play somthing else. If you right click on the groups icon within the chat window you can set it to "beep when users send messages" that way when somone joins the chat and says hello you will know. You can ♥♥♥♥ + tab during a game to bring up the steam overlay to check the chat window. If a bunch of people all get in the chat then they can comunicate and organise a game of SM.
