Xbox Extended Feature Support Driver broken in July 19th Beta
ISSUE
Steam is showing the standard Xbox One controller art and missing the Share button binding while having the Xbox Extended Feature Support Driver installed for Xbox Series controller.
Also, said driver cannot be uninstalled in the beta, as it shows an error about the Steam Service running and/or being up to date.

OS
Windows 11 22H2 build 22621.1992

STEPS
Have the Xbox Extended Feature Support Driver installed
Select a game from the library
Select the Controller Layout option
Select the View Layout option

RESULTS
Controller art layout shown is for the standard Xbox One controller and the Share button binding is missing.

EXPECTED
Controller art is for the Xbox Series controller, Share button is bindable.
The only way to have the driver working is to reinstall it on the stable client, yet the controller art on stable still shows the old Xbox One controller, but at least the Share button is accessible.

Same here (on current beta). Completely lost the ability to customize the LED color on my Elite Series 2 controller. The only thing I can do at this point is calibrate the dead zones or turn rumble on/off. -- Dropping out of the beta and back to stable immediately fixed the problem for me and I didn't even have to uninstall/reinstall the extended feature driver.

+1 and can confirm this has happened to me as well. Screenshots on my Xbox One Controller were working until latest update, in which i could no longer screenshot and also could not find the share button on the controller when looking at the customize layout section. Dropping out of beta and into stable brings back the old settings and functions. Please fix.

+1 Win10 with Elite Series 2 controller and the paddles suddenly stopped showing as mappable in the controller mapping dialogue and was receiving an error when trying to uninstall/reinstall the extended feature support driver saying to make sure the steam client service was running.

Which July 24th update? Because I tried the regular and Family Sharing Beta drivers and had the same issue. Only 4 Xbox controllers ever show up in Steam.

I eventually got 8 controllers working. What I haven't figured out is why they suddenly drop off even with a single controller. I wish I could say what's causing it. Maybe it's Win 11?
