Steam can't launch Ubisoft games
Recently purcahsed AC shadows, tried launching it but kept starting and then stopping itself. Starting on both launchers (Steam and Ubisoft Connect) gives the start and stop issue.

So far my only Fix has been restarting my PC, verifying game files and straight up praying to god it boots.

Fairly certain this is a Ubisoft issue, but thought it would be worthy to post as bug on Steam seen as it is available to be purchased here.

Not having any problem launching ubisoft games myself, but I'm also on linux using steam proton so that may come into play. When I was using windows still, I recall having to add the ubisoft launcher itself as a non-steam game (same with EA Origin before the desktop app) in order to get the 3rd party launchers to work right, but still launch the games from their steam shortcuts.
