Game recordings not playing

ISSUE
Ever since I updated to the latest version, I seem to be unable to play my game recordings. When I click on them, the player opens and only shows loading icon spinning without end.

OS
Windows 10

STEPS

Update to latest Steam patch (07.07.2025)
Open any game recording

RESULTS
Player shows never ending loading icon.

EXPECTED
Player plays game recording.

my recording failed bigtime like 7 times. but now i figured i have to restart steam so memory gets flushed, and the temporary savefile discontinues. i am still not able to record from all games. even games i used to be able to record and export from. i think it saves a temporary file, but if you stop the recording it gets confused or cluttered, so when restarting it, it fails. not sure in anyway about this but thats how it looks to me. in short, i can record one recording first time i open steam. but if i want a second recording, i need to restart steam to be sure it even records anything. Win11 Pro, Nvidia 4060RTX
